Ladies, This Is For You! 9 Reasons Why You Should Travel With A Guy Before You Marry Him

Getting to travel with your man before you finally get tied to him for the rest of your life is very important for these reasons.

If you get the opportunity to travel with your guy, before you get married, then jump at that chance, because it’s the perfect way to really find out what he is like. You get to see what he’s like under pressure, how he deals with unfamiliar situations and you find out what it’s like living with him 24 hours a day. So, book that vacation now, before you tie the knot, because here are ten good reasons why you should:

1. Travelling can bring out the best and the worst in people

People just let themselves go more on vacation and that can highlight both the good and the bad in people. You’ll be able to see him with his guard down and that might either confirm your worst fears or cement your love for him.

2. You’ll be able to see how he treats other people

Does he snap his fingers at the waiters and complain all the time or is he more tolerant and patient? Some people behave appallingly on vacation, because they think that no one will see them. It’s a good way to get a picture of his true personality.

3. You will see how he copes with being out of his comfort zone

When you travel away from home, you will be in unfamiliar surroundings and without your usual support network. This will show how well he copes with awkward situations and also how well you work together as a team.

4. You’ll find out more about his habits

When you share the close proximity of a hotel room with someone you will certainly get to know them better. You’ll also get to see all his personal habits and some of them might come as a bit of a surprise!

5. You will see how he reacts under pressure

Planes get delayed, hotel rooms aren’t always up to scratch and you will probably forget to pack some things, so now’s the time you really see how he reacts, when things go a wrong. It will be far better to find out now that he has a short fuse than finding out after the wedding day.

6. You will figure out how generous he really is

A vacation is also a good time to find out how generous he is. You can watch to see how generously he tips and how hard he haggles down the price with street vendors. You might also be able to gauge his reaction to those less well off than him, such as street beggars.

7. You’ll find out how adventurous he is

You’ll also find out how willing he is to try out new things. Will he try the local cuisine and learn a bit of the language? Or will he head straight for the nearest McDonalds and complain that the locals don’t understand him?

8. You’ll learn more about his likes and dislikes

With no work to occupy him, you’ll really be able to learn what he likes to do with his free time. Does he like action packed adventure, or is he more happy snoozing on the beach? You’ll also find out how good he is at compromising, when you want to do different things from him.

9. You’ll find out if he will drive you mad!

A two week vacation is far from a lifetime, but it does provide with an excellent opportunity to decide if you really can live with this guy. So, if you find that, when you get home, you’re glad it’s all over, you are going to have a lot of serious soul searching to do!

Money Made Us Insert Cocaine Into Our Anuses – Men Nabbed By NDLEA Confess

Two men, Okechukwu Okonkwo and Lucky Ifedigbo, have told officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), why they inserted wraps of cocaine into their anuses.

But Okonkwo (44) and Ifedigbo (37) had different stories to tell on why they embraced drug trafficking. The suspects inserted seven wraps of cocaine each, weighing 350 grams into their alimentary canals to evade arrest.
Okonkwo said that he accepted to smuggle drugs because of frustration and also because he needed money to leave Brazil. On the other hand, Ifedigbo said he became a drug courier because he was looking at the profit margin. NDLEA agents arrested the suspects at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos, on Nigeria-Brazil route.

They were arrested during the inward screening of passengers on a Royal Air Maroc flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil through Casablanca, Morocco. The agency recovered 700g of powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine from the two suspects.
Okonkwo said: “I was stranded in Brazil where I worked as a waiter in a restaurant for two years. Life was awful as I struggled daily to feed myself. When I was contacted to smuggle cocaine to Nigeria, I was very happy because it was an opportunity to return home.

“My sponsor also promised to pay me N500,000, with which I had planned to start a business.” Ifedigbo, who has also spent two years in Brazil, described his arrest as a stroke of ill-luck.
He said: “I’m a businessman. I import female shoes from Brazil since 2014. This arrest is just bad luck for me because I was already calculating my profit from the deal.”

You Can Now Suspend Your Dstv Subscription When You Wish

MultiChoice Nigeria, leading video entertainment provider responsible for DStv, says Nigerians can now suspend their subscription while they are away from home.

MultiChoice Nigeria said the new package is in line with its commitment to better service delivery for all its subscribers.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the company said greater attention is being paid to issues affecting subscribers’ enjoyment of DStv services.
Notable among these are signal loss, subscription payment and reconnection, customer care services, Free-to-Air channels and hardware related issues.

The company explained that customers now have the option of suspending their accounts while they are away from home.
It said this will be upon request and a 48-hour notice that the account be suspended for a fixed period between seven to 14 days twice yearly. “We put our customers first at all times and hold them in high very esteem,” the statement read.
“We are committed to delivering world-class service to our customers and proud to say we are the first video entertainment company to implement new subscriber initiatives requested by the Consumer Protection Council (CPC).

“Over the past year, we have worked closely with the CPC to identify our customers’ areas of need and made a commitment towards implementing solutions that will resonate with our customers and lead to improved service.”
On the issue of customer care services, MultiChoice explained that the call centre hours have been extended to accommodate more queries.

“Call centre operating hours are now 8am to 9pm on Saturdays, Sunday and public holidays. In addition, toll free numbers have been introduced on major network providers”, MultiChoice stated.
“The toll free lines are 09090630333 for Etisalat, 07080630333 for Airtel, 08113630333 for Glo and 08149860333 for MTN. This means that customers’ calls to the call centre are toll free when they call the corresponding numbers of their mobile network.”
Other subscriber-focused initiatives, the company added, include access to free-to-air channels at the expiration of subscription and upon the payment of a nominal fee, improved content on its mid-level offering, DStv Compact, providing greater value to subscribers.
In addition, from time to time, the company opens premium content on the higher bouquets for an entire week to DStv subscribers, irrespective of their subscription status.

Drama As Anglican Church Bishops Flee Anambra Over IPOB’s Sit-At-Home Threat

A five-day meeting of the Bishops of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, in Awka, Anambra State was hurriedly called off on Wednesday, as the clergymen hurriedly left the state following the threat issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

IPOB had on Sunday warned residents in the South-East to stay in doors on September 23 as a mark of solidarity as it carries out a worldwide rally to protest the continuous incarceration of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
The pro-Biafra group had threatened that markets, banks and other institutions should be shut down, while movement restricted.
The 170 Bishops who were attending the meeting, for fear of been trapped abruptly ended the conference which was scheduled to end on Friday.

Earlier in the conference, the Primate of the Anglican Communion, Most Revd Nicolas Okoh, had expressed fear that the clergymen could be trapped in the state should the conference continues as scheduled.
Okoh had appealed to the state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, to prevail on the secessionist group to shelve their scheduled protest because it would affect their activities and movement.

“We are not against whatever their agitations are, but we ask them to wait until we leave Awka on Friday.
“If they go on to carry out that protest, we may be trapped in Anambra as the Niger Bridge is the only exit from Anambra State.
“So, help us beg them to allow us to go,” the Primate enjoined Obiano.

Billionaire Nigerian Businessman Aliko Dangote Plans To Buy Arsenal F.C. In 4 Years

Aliko Dangote, Africa/Nigeria’s richest man, has clearly re-stated his plans to buy London-based professional football club ‘Arsenal’ , in four years time. In an interview with Bloomberg TV in New York on Wednesday, Dangote stated that there’s no doubt he’ll buy Arsenal and it’s not a problem of money.
Dangote, reportedly worth around £8.3billion, announced his intention to buy Arsenal last year. But his business prospects needs to improve and investments in gas pipelines/oil refinery have to to pay off before making the expensive acquisition.

“It’s not about buying Arsenal and just continuing with business as usual,” he said. “It’s about buying Arsenal and turning it around. I’ve run a very successful business and I think I can also run a very successful team. Right now, with what we’re facing, over $20 billion of projects, I cannot do both.”

“Maybe three to four years. The issue is that we have more challenging headwinds. I need to get those out the way first and start having tailwinds. Then I’ll focus on this.”

Beauty, the saying goes, is only skin-deep. But the importance of skin goes a lot deeper. Most of us think of skin as just our body’s visible outer layer, but doctors consider skin an organ, meaning that it is very much alive and charged with many important duties.

In particular, the skin is the first layer of your immune system, serving as a shield between you and legions of germs such as viruses and bacteria. It also protects your insides from sun, cold, scrapes, cuts, and moisture. And, of course, your sense of touch is crucial for everyday function.
Like any part of your internal body, your skin can be healthy or ill. It can be well nourished or malnourished. It can be exercised, and it can wear down with age or abuse.

In particular, as we age, our skin becomes thinner and drier. Plus, other, more unpleasant things happen to our skin. Things like wrinkles, age spots, dark circles, and large pores, which tend to turn up like uninvited guests at a wedding.
While you can’t control your age, you can control numerous other factors that accelerate this aging process, including excessive exposure to sunlight, loss of estrogen during menopause, poor dietary habits, stress, and cigarette smoking.

Lionel Messi Out For Three (3) Weeks

Barcelona star Lionel Messi will be sidelined for the next three weeks due to a groin strain, dealing a huge blow to his club and country.

“To lose Lionel Messi means football loses and we lose,” said Barca boss Luis Enrique.

Messi limped off just before the hour mark of the Spanish champions’ 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

The Argentine captain is set to miss his country’s World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Paraguay next month as well as Barca’s Champions League clash at Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Messi will also sit on the Catalans’ La Liga trips to Sporting Gijon and Celta Vigo.

However, Messi should be fit in time for a reunion with old boss Pep Guardiola when Manchester City visit the Camp Nou on Champions League duty on October 19.

The five-time World Player of the Year missed Argentina’s World Cup qualifier with Venezuela earlier this month due to the problem and only started Barca’s shock 2-1 defeat to Alaves 10 days ago on the bench as coach Luis Enrique bedded him back into action gently.
“Now we have to look for other solutions,” added Enrique. “With Leo we are much stronger, but without him we are still a strong team.”
Barca coped remarkably well with eight wins from 10 games when Messi was sidelined by a hamstring injury for two months last season.

And Enrique hopes his side can show similar resilience to avoid slipping further behind Real Madrid in the title race.
“Last year we had an unfortunate situation with a longer-term injury and my team played well.”
Barca remain three points behind Madrid at the top of La Liga after Angel Correa’s equaliser seconds after Messi limped off handed Atletico a share of the spoils at the Camp Nou.

Ivan Rakitic headed Barca into the lead just before half-time, but Atletico marshalled Messi’s star strike partners Luis Suarez and Neymar well in his absence to hold out for a point.
Suarez, though, insisted he and the Brazilian can step up as they did without Messi last season.
“It is a difficult injury that hurts and leaves you sad,” said Suarez. “Now we have to take responsibility.”
Suarez was involved in a battle of his own as he was booked for a clash with Atletico left-back Filipe Luis six minutes from time.

Luis posted a photo of a stud mark piercing his bleeding foot on his official Instagram page after the match with the message: “Just as well he didn’t touch me.”
However, Suarez lambasted Luis for not reacting likewise when he was sent-off for a brutal challenge on Messi when the sides clashed back in January.

“This is football, it is a man’s game and what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch,” added Suarez.
“You can’t make a show of things every time something happens. Last year he didn’t post a picture of Messi. I repeat, football is for men.”
