It’s no doubt a question mark, why WhatsApp is going to share our details with Facebook and What Facebook is going to make with our privacy?
As WhatsApp, kingpin of all texting apps, is now in control of Facebook because it has been acquired by Mark Zuckerberg, so Facebook wants to make its ads as per users’ interest at Facebook by getting users’ account information from WhatsApp after getting their consent.

WhatsApp has already made it clear to every user that communication through this channel will totally be end-to-end encrypted. Same is still effective even after this announcement. So don’t worry, you WhatsApp conversation with your friends and family is tight secured. Moreover, images and videos you share or receive are also secured, these can not be viewed by anyone at any level except you and other party to whom you send and receive from. At the other end of spectrum, voice communication at WhatsApp is also safe. Keep relaxed ðŸ™‚
What Type of Data will be Shared to Facebook?
WhatsApp will only share your mobile number with Facebook that using which you signed up WhatsApp account last time. Purpose of sharing mobile number of user is not to make it open to all at Facebook or other business marketing concerns. Significant benefit of contact number is making protection against spam and abuse, moreover users’ experience of services will remain satisfactory. Anyhow it is still not clear that how Facebook and other subsidiaries of it will make better experience of users using service. Its point to ponder as well ðŸ™‚
