Five Football Matches You Should NOT Miss This Weekend!!! (Predictions Included)

Football is back with a bang this weekend!!!

Luyukabs blog highlights Five Key Matches You Should Not, For No Reason, Miss This Weekend:

1-Manchester United vs Manchester City- English Premier League

In what is arguably the match of the weekend, the city of Manchester shall be split into red and blue when Manchester United take on Manchester City on Saturday.

The rivalry between Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola that blossomed in the Spanish league will resume in the EPL, with the former determined to reshape Louis van Gaal’s leftovers into immediate title contenders; amid new signings including Paul Pogba , Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimović , while the latter is also keen in bringing back the glory days at Man City.

One player that would certainly missed by the visitors is inform striker Sergio Aguero , who is suspended after receiving a three-match ban for elbowing Winston Reid last weekend.
Yet Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho is another dangerous option if he is giving the opportunity.

United are blessed with a collection of stars that can hurt City, and all eyes will be on what the influence of Pogba and Ibrahimovic can do to their bitter rivals.
Prediction: 1-1

2- Liverpool vs Leicester City- English Premier League

When reigning champions Leicester City and Liverpool faced each other at the King Power Stadium last season, striker Jamie Vardy scored an audacious goal. Will he be able to replicate such heroics this season? Well this weekend will tell.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have a knack of turning up against the big boys but crawl in their shells against smaller teams, so we are predicting an incredibly pulsating match at Anfield.
Prediction: 2-1

3- Arsenal vs Southampton- English Premier League

Arsenal welcome Southampton to the Emirates this weekend in what is predicted on paper to be an easy encounter for the gunners, considering early signs are showing Southampton are a different outfit without the industrious Ronald Koeman .
New signings Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez will be looking to impress, and manager Arsene Wenger knows it is a must win for his side in a bid to catch up with the teams at the top end of the table.
Prediction: 2-0

4- Juventus vs Sassuolo - Italian LeLeague

When Man United fans want rivals to stop complaining about the gigantic fee they spent to bring back Paul Pogba , they point to Juventus signing of Gonzalo Higuain .

Yes, Juventus spent €90 million to bring Higuain from Napoli and there’s that sense of pressure on the Argentine to repay that price.
The 28-year old is presented with another opportunity to do just that when his side welcome 13th placed Sassuolo to the Juventus arena.
Prediction: 4-1

5- Swansea vs Chelsea- English Premier League

Antonio Conte’s maiden season in the
Premier League has been a successful one so far, with 3 wins out of 3. Perfect.

Now his side are presented with a tricky test when they travel to Wales to face a difficult-to-beat Swansea .
Conte, 47, though would be relieved to have made a last ditch signing in David Luiz.

Chelsea, with the quality players they have got, should be at the top end of the table come end of the season, and with Conte’s hardworking traits, he is the missing piece in Chelsea’s jigsaw.
Prediction: 1-3

Which football match are you looking forward to this weekend??
