You Won’t Believe What FG Plans To Do With Buhari’s “Change Begins With Me”

The federal government has mapped out plans to sell the just launched “change begins with me” campaign.

In a statement signed by the Segun Adeyemi, the special assistant to the minister of information, the new campaign will be unveiled to the private business owners in Nigeria.

Adeyemi in the statement said the minister of information Lai Mohammed will perform the unveiling ceremony on Thursday, October 6 to the private sector.

The minister said the plan to unveil the campaign to this sector of Nigeria’s economy is in line with the pronouncement by President Muhammadu Buhari that the private sector is a major stakeholder at the launch of the initiative.

He said: “The unveiling will not only deepen the private sector’s understanding of the campaign, but will also make it possible for that critical sector to know how they can key in to it.”

He also noted that the unveiling ceremony will take place by 11 am at the Abora Hall of the Eko Hotel and suites on Thursday, October 6.
The “change begins with me” campaign was launched by President Buhari on September 8, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The campaign is aimed at changing the attitude of Nigerians towards positive behaviour that could improve on the country’s quest for a sustainable development.

Meanwhile, the campaign has also been marred with various scandals like the pronouncement made by two media consultants that the idea was stolen by the present administration.

Similarly, some days after the “change begins with me” campaign it was observed that the speech given by the president was plagiarized from another speech by the president of the United States of America Barack Obama.
The presidency have also claimed that the presidential media aide has been sacked over the incident.
